The Story of Pupcake Party

IMG_9094.jpg

It seemed like I was being invited to a puppy party nearly every weekend.  Friends would gather in our park and pass out treat bags while the pups all played around us. Everyone was having a great time. And that's when it hit me...

I'm no stranger to birthday parties...or pups! As an event planner for Linda Kaye's Birthdaybakers Partymakers in New York City, I planned hundreds of parties for New Yorkers at the Central Park Zoo and Museum of Natural History. I worked with clients to create unique party themes, assist in finding one-of-a-kind cakes, and curated iconic party favors delighting children from every borough. So if I could do it for City kids, why not island pups?!

Over the years, I've planned parties for The Washington Ballet, Asia Society, and New Line Cinema to name a few at some of the most iconic landmarks including The White House,

The John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts,

The Waldorf=Astoria, Cipriani, Aulani, A Disney Resort & Spa,

Nanea Golf Club, and Lincoln Center's David H. Koch Theater.

But most importantly, I'm the proud doggy mom to Lion, my two-year old Fur Angel rescue pup and I've been big sis to Snow, Benji, Malcolm, and Dakota and loving mom to Bailey, Noelani and Baxter - all rescues as well.

My love for Lion and passion for pups is bone-none. What's better than celebrating the amazing lives of our fur babies and the love they bring to us every moment of every day.

And that is how Pupcake Party was born.
